The Great Merlin Project Chapter 12The party road with little resistance and they were only a half-day's ride away from Mordred's village. Merlin had help from Percival to get himself down without jostling his leg too bad. He sat quietly watching the two people who had captured his attention, Madison, who said he was too important to die, and Mordred, who Merlin knew wasn't to be trusted. Mordred seemed rather comfortable around everyone now, especially Arthur, which upset Merlin greatly. Merlin took his chance to speak with the Druid boy when he walked away after their dinner. Merlin limped toward the young man and stood beside him in silence.
