Heart Strings Vol. 2

This was really fun to draw even though Dimitri looks so sad. T^T My poor brother suffers so. This is what happened after the volume 1 story.

Dimitri was shocked to see what he did and Ciel and River felt embarrassed and guilty for not telling him. Dimitri's only reaction was to apologize and back out leaving the sheet music for Ciel on a table by the door. As soon as he was out in the hall the full force of the realization hit him and Dimitri stumbled back to his room locking the door behind him. Ciel found the music Dimitri had left and him and River went to his room to talk to him. Dimitri refused to let them in saying that it was just a nightmare and that he would wake up to find the friends he could trust. This hurt them and Ciel unlocked the door the same way Dimitri had been unlocking theirs for a while and found Dimitri sitting high up on the top bunk of his bed. Ciel asked why he was taking the situation so seriously. Dimitri asked Ciel if he had found the song any why Ciel thought he bothered writing it in the first place. That explained everything to Ciel and River. Now they felt even more guilty. Dimitri sent them off trying to act calmly about it saying they'd see him in class.
Dimitri got to class late due to lack of sleep. It was obvious to Ciel that this was a problem and offered to Dimitri that he run the class while he went to get more sleep. Dimitri agreed and went back to his room and rested. Ciel came by after to class and invited him over to their dorm to make amends. The three of them talked and eventually got on the topic of old memories, Ciel's to be specific. After seeing how distressed this made Ciel, Dimitri said he could help so he used his powers to take away Ciel's memory of his parents' death. Ciel was furious and demanded Dimitri return his memories to him. Dimitri tried his best but wasnt used to returning memories to others so after doing so he became dizzy and collapsed. Dmitri woke up shortly after and Ciel told him that one of is memories his had slipped in with Ciel's. It was a memory Dimitri had from when he was still a normal shinigami and was watching someone young with their whole life ahead of them die. Thats when he became a 'white shinigami.' After this Ciel thanked him and their bond was stitched back together...for now...
