Chronicles of England and Middle Earth Part 7

                                                           ~1940~
Middle Earth: -was attending an allies meet with Arthur after WW2 had started.  She was interested to see what actually happened in these meetings-

Arthur: - I slam my fist on the table- Who in the bloody hell made the decision to send in troops to the rhineland?! We are outnumbered and I told you to wait till we had more troops!

Francis: I want zem filthy germans to pay back reparations, and the occupation of ze ruhr is the only way to do it!

Arthur: I TOLD YOU, FROG, TO WAIT!

‎ Francis: MY PEOPLE ARE SUFFERING BECAUSE OF ZEM!

Arthur: - I sigh- I know they are. But biding our time was our only solution!

Francis: I am not going to sit back and watch my people suffer at zere hands.

Middle Earth: Thinks: How tense. I didn't know that Arthur had to deal with stuff like this.  Wish I could help.

Alfred: -almost reading her mind blurts out- Hey, Middle Earth, why don't you help us out!?

Middle Earth: Wh-what? -surprised-

Alfred: Yeah I mean you have a ton of awesome magic people where you live so it would be cool if you could recruit some troops.

Arthur: Alfred, have you gone out of your mind?!

Francis: I don't see you volunteering your troops, Amerique!

Arthur: I am not having Madison put herself at risk, she's not involved in this war, and it's staying that way.

Francis: But she is not your colony, Angleterre...

Arthur: She's my family, Frog, and I care for her greatly. She's not getting involved.

Boston: Hey! This is no way to run a war meeting. I would know and France if you're so concerned about American troops I'm more willing to fight and you know I can.  I'm a war state. -turns to Middle Earth with a smile-  If Madison wants to help out then she should but no one should pressure her into it. Right Alfred? -looks to her brother sternly-

Alfred: Yeah yeah I get it already

Arthur: Finally, someone who is speaking sense.

‎ Francis: Zen I want all ze troops you can give me. Zose German assholes are going down

Arthur: You take it easy on Boston, Francis. I'm watching you closely, frog. - I glare at him- Meeting dismissed. - I gather my things and get ready to leave.-

Francis: - I look surprised at the slight defensiveness before packing my things also-

Middle Earth: -Also gets ready to leave and follow you-

Boston: Hey wait Madison -smiles-

Middle Earth: Oh Karen.  Thank you again for speaking up for me back there

Boston: It's not problem but Alfred wants to say something. Alfred get over here

Alfred: -walks over pouting with his hands in his pockets- I'm sorry for pressuring you...

Middle Earth: -smiles- That's okay I understand why you asked.

Arthur: - I look back to Madison and wait for her patiently-


Alfred: So are you gonna help us?

Boston: -elbows him in the stomach-

Alfred: Ow what it was just a question.

Middle Earth: I might at least if Arthur if Arthur doesn't have any objections.

Alfred: You aren't his colony so why do you do everything he tells you?

Boston: I've been wondering that too.

Middle Earth: Well I used to be his colony but he gave me my independence.

Alfred and Boston: What!?

Boston: He just gave it to you? Seriously?

Middle Earth: -nods with a smile- Yes  -speaks a little more quietly to them- Although I can't say that I actually wanted it.

Arthur: - I keep waiting.-

Middle Earth: I have to go now. I can't keep Arthur waiting.  Bye -smiles and waves as she leaves-

Alfred: -watches her go thinking about the irony of it all-

Middle Earth: -bumps into Canada on the way out the door-  

Canada: Ah!

Middle Earth: Oh Canada I'm so sorry.  

Canada: -smiles and speaks softly- It's okay

Middle Earth: I hope to see you again. Bye -walks down the hall and meets Arthur-

Canada: -smiles after her then realizes-  She saw me!  She saw me and she knew who I was!? -smiles in quiet excitement-

Arthur: - I smile and offer my arm to her- Ready to leave, Madison?

Middle Earth: -smiles and hooks her arm around yours- Mhm

Arthur: -I lead her down the hall, a light smile on my features-
